Opening in 1977, we were Byron's first and original Backpacker Hostel.

Cape Byron Lodge is a locally owned and operated - so you can be assured that we are only here to please and ensure that you enjoy your Byron experience.

We have quiet, relaxed and easygoing, spaces with an outlook to a rainforest and a saltwater pool. We offer loads of free activities such as bikes and boogie boards.

We are within easy walking distance to Byron's amazing selection of beaches, shops, restaurants, cafe's, pubs and nightclubs or you can take the free courtesy bus that runs regularly throughout the day.

On your arrival in Byron our free courtesy bus will pick you up from the bus stop and take you back to our hostel.
